Heath Andrew Ledger (4 April 1979 – 22 January 2008) was an Australian television and film actor, best known n remembered for his performance as JOKER in the movie, The Dark Knight. And it is this very JOKER act that has entailed me write this salutation to him.

Saw this movie 3 times in Theatre, downloaded from torrent 4 times to get the clearest print possible [So, if somebody reading it out has not yet seen it, do get it from me] n there i have it on my laptop - the most precious thing i would take backup of, when some malfunction demands for an OS format.

For those who have not seen the movie yet, i would suggest them to do so - after all, the movie broke many box office records. Moreover, the music director for the movie is again a maestro - Hans Zimmer, the most important aspect for the music being the feel of tension building up in plot as movie paces ahead.

Ledger has been nominated for a posthumous Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor - Motion Picture [To be announced on January 11, 29] - And finally he has got it!!!, Dark Knight Director Christopher Nolan accepted the statuette on his behalf. Also, the fan club hopes for a posthumous Oscar - And again he bagged it - JOKER is now an Academy award winner. And btw he is also a winner of Best Actor International Award at the 2008 Australian Film Institute awards.
