On January 26, 2k9 i complete my 3 years of professional[not so though] coding. Programming arena is so wide to roam around, and i have traversed only a bit. The sheer eternal scope makes you feel meager.
MCA - 1st semester, i was in high skies thinking that bloody tomes would now be replaced by Magic Box called PC, always dreamt about creating video games n doing other digital wonders with it. Soon realized that Practical labs r there just to add to the assets of the college n to show off. IIIrd semester, got my first PC at home, n was very much in love with seductive C language - while travelling back to home(delhi) in bus, would contemplate about my next night adventure : candle light dinner with darling C. Sometimes, i wud think emulating diwali fire crackers on my screen, or synchronizing a graphical pendulum with system clock, other times, it wud b some other awkward idea uttered by my mind. Final Semester, felt overwhelmed by acquaintance with the whole lot variety of technologies, n wasn't good with any one of them.
Having failed with Quark Soft(Mohali), HCL Tech(Noida) n Nagarro Soft(Gurgaon) - finally landed in Miracle Tech. MS NET was the next ugly confrontation - boring, abhorring, threatening. I had become an IT Bhaiya!, coming all over from delhi to chd to earn my f##ked up living.
Just like i used to do it in my own room 3 years back, i still program, but certainly, much has changed - Workarounds have replaced challenges, Logic is all published at google for copy-paste, deadlines have replaced internal bliss, and worst of all, my darling C has been superseded by awful C#! I don't love to code now.
What started as a passion, seems now like a futile endeavor.
For me, Programming is not fun anymore!

hi gaurav,
ReplyDeleteHail InfoQuest!
Yaar why did u change our tag line[...making web reach out], i always loved it. Wanted to remain always a part of InfoQuest, but learnt it from veterans n own experience that we need much more experience to start with such a great endeavor. So, may be sometime in (distant) future...
Nahi yaar free to nahi hoon, but likh leta hoon agar time lage to.
K then, keep an eye always.
its time you get a real darling instead of c or c# because she will give u so much trouble and life will be hell and you will find solace in programmings instead of her, time for a change mate, take care everyone is living a boring life and u also must have heard the famous saying NO ONE DIES AS A VIRGIN LIFE FUCKS ALL
ReplyDeleteha ha ha, nice one.
ReplyDeleteso what sir,
ReplyDeleteYour Darling C is Now "Mother Of All Languages",
That are in present scene right now.
This means you either you have to spend ur whole life as a virgin or take inspiration from "farter of the nation" Mr. Rupesh garg and get married soon.
More Over sir, luckily, if u somehow manage to get married with our bhabi ur present love interest thenit will be beneficial for all of us as well as u.
