Ramu Yalamanchi is the founder and current CEO of website hi5, one of the largest social networking sites in the world. Ramu is an Indian-American entrepreneur, who founded the hi5 with Akash Garg.
hi5 is one of the largest social networking sites in the World, the #1 social networking service for the Spanish speaking market, and a top 10 site in 20 countries across the globe. Yalamanchi, 34, and Garg, 30, simply got into their markets early, built a lean business, and poured their energy into creating a Web site that users don't want to leave.
Ramu received a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
